Hello! My name is Chelsea Wirschem, and I am excited to be returning to St. Gregory the Great this year! This will be my fourth year teaching second grade at St. Gregory's, and I am so glad to be returning to this wonderful school community.
I was born and raised in Seattle, WA and originally came to Los Angeles to study at Loyola Marymount University. There I received an undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies (Elementary Education) and a minor in Spanish. I returned to LMU for graduate school and received my Masters in Educational Studies and California Teaching Credential. I also spent two years working and living in Managua, Nicaragua with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. I believe teaching is a great joy and privilege, and look forward to spending the year ahead with all of you!
